Our Location
What’s in Meadowlawn?
Our Homes
The neighborhood consists mainly of single family homes. Chateaux Versailles Condominiums and Barkwood Square Condominiums are also located within Meadowlawn. Homes within the area are single family, mostly masonry, well-kept dwellings. Many older homes are being purchased and renovated by young families who grew up in Meadowlawn. They have returned to raise their own children in the neighborhood. As most of the older homes were well built, remodeling and additions are now being seen all over Meadowlawn. In 1995 and 1996, Hoyt Homes built many homes in Sawgrass Estates, the last vacant land in Meadowlawn. There are 2200 homes in Meadowlawn.

Schools
George M. Lynch Elementary School is located in the middle of Meadowlawn.
Lynch Elementary was built in 1958, and it is nestled in the Meadowlawn Community. Lynch is a family-oriented school, and parents who were once students at this school, now enroll their own children to attend. Our brand-new, two story, 12 classroom addition was completed for 2009 occupancy. Each classroom is equipped with Smart 4 Kids technology. Lynch also applied and received a FASA Grant to implement the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. Our school strives to help each child reach his or her highest potential in a safe, civil environment. A newly constructed school was opened on January 3rd, 2012.
Two additional schools, Meadowlawn Middle School and Northeast High School, are within walking distance of the neighborhood.
Churches
Hope Lutheran church is located inside Meadowlawn and several other churches are located just outside the neighborhood.
